- Nothing contained in the terms of the warranty shall be constructed as depriving
either person or persons claiming benefit of the warranty of their respective rights
under common law.
- Subject to compliance with terms and conditions, the warranty shall apply during
the period they are in force to the subsequent ownership of the property installed.
- The installation of products and the acceptance by the warrantor of any claim of
any claim for re-installation under this warranty shall be condition on:
- Any structure or other alteration work does not affect the functionality of the
system.
- Complete maintenance at all times of water systems, drainage and other services
in the property
- Precautions being taken to protect the property from unreasonable floods
- This warranty shall not apply when any area under guarantee which are repaired,
altered, added to after completion.
- Any installation that has not been installed in accordance to the manufacture specification,
Note: It must be understood that the installation of the system, that the rising
dampness already in the wall has to evaporate before the wall becomes normal and
dry conditions can be obtained. Any wall being re-plastered can commence almost
immediately after installation of the system using only renovating plaster. The
time period involved must of course be governed by the initial moisture content
and wall thicknesses. It shall be noted that a drying time of one month per 25 mm
thickness is often experience on a damp wall and first decoration other treatment
must therefore by neglect or temporary. Only a porous paper should be hung and any
paint applied to the wall should be water based.
